Brandon is what Disney calls an ‘insatiable kidult’—a grown-up who never quite grew up. He still remembers his very first trip to Disney World where he had to chase down the White Rabbit for a picture (because he was running ‘quite late’) and the Queen of Hearts motioned ‘off with his head’ during the Main Street Electrical Parade. (He’s still a little scared of the Queen of Hearts.)

He had been planning Disney World®, Disneyland®, and Disney Cruise Line® trips for family members and friends for a long time and realized over time how much he loved doing it… So he decided to found his own travel agency—Magic Lamp Vacations!

Jessy was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Her first trip to Walt Disney World® was when she was twelve years old—a surprise gift before she entered Middle School. That’s when she fell in love with all things Disney (especially 101 Dalmatians). 

When her family decided to move to the United States, they chose Florida for two reasons: (1) family and (2) to be closer to the magic of Disney!

Her husband (Prince Charming) and three children take monthly trips with her to the Walt Disney World® Resort as annual passholders, alternating between the different parks and various seasonal festivities. She even took the Keys to the Kingdom Tour! 

In addition to her trips to Walt Disney World®, Jessy has also experienced Disney Cruise Line® first-hand, having sailed on the Disney Dream twice. 

She loves making memories with her family. For her, the most important thing is to create memories for her children—ones that they can pass on to their own children.

Laura grew up and lived in the Houston, Texas area with her hubby and three (now-grown) kids until she recently moved to Tampa. What a selling point to be closer to the mouse! 

She was eight years old when she met Mickey Mouse for the first time while on a trip to Disneyland with her parents, and her love of all things Disney began! 

Her first trip to Walt Disney World was during the 15th Anniversary Celebration, which naturally led to many, many more trips with family and friends, including one unique trip via FaceTime to Disneyland Paris thanks to her older daughter—and even a “Flat Stanley” style Universal/Disney trip. Talk about packing light!  

Now Laura is in the Tampa area, she and her husband make several trips each month to WDW for all of the festivals, seasonal parties, and holiday celebrations, including the VIP behind the scenes tours which she absolutely LOVES! Her personal favorite is the Keys to the Kingdom Tour at the Magic Kingdom.

Derek Bacon is a native of the South Bend, Indiana area who has been traveling to the Disney World Resort his entire life. Derek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre and Musical Theatre from North Central College of Naperville, IL. He is an accomplished performer and theatre technician having been involved in over 50 productions at the community, collegiate and professional levels. Derek’s other love in life is travel. He has been to 20 of the 50 states as well as Canada and London and surrounding areas in the UK. He has a Jack Russell/Chihuahua named Lucy and hopes to visit more of Europe soon. 

For Juan, Disney holds a special place in his heart, thanks to his father’s love for the enchanting stories. From a young age, the magic of Disney has been interwoven into the fabric of his life. The Lion King has left an indelible mark, reminding him to embrace his identity and the lessons of resilience and courage found within.

Juan’s love of Disney first began when he set foot in Disney World at the age of 12. The wonder and excitement from that trip left an everlasting impression. Fast forward 21 years, and he had the incredible opportunity to return to Disney World with his extended family for a monumental reunion.
