5 Reasons to Book a Very Merry Disney Cruise

Have you ever thought about taking a Very Merry Disney Cruise, but weren’t sure if it was worth it? Or maybe you just wondered how it was different from a regular Disney Cruise?

Well, don’t worry! We’ve come up with a list that gives you five very good reasons to book a Very Merry Cruise.

In the spirit of holiday cheer, Disney Cruise Line adds sparkle to each ship during Very Merrytime Cruises, with Disney characters dressed in festive attire, special stem-to-stern holiday events, traditional “turkey day” fanfare, Christmas feasts, “snow flurries” and New Year’s Eve galas. 1. DISNEY FRIENDS IN HOLIDAY ATTIRE

All of your favorite Disney characters – Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto – will be in their special Christmastime outfits. It’s the perfect photo opportunity for your Holiday post cards!

2. MEET MR. & MRS. CLAUSE

A Very Merry Cruise wouldn’t be complete without a visit from the big man himself – Santa! And Mrs. Clause even holds story times in front of the Christmas tree.

3. MICKEY’S TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY

Join Mickey and all his pals as they hold a special ceremony to light up the main Christmas tree located in the lobby atrium. It’s sure to delight the entire family!

4. GINGERBREAD HOUSES

Each cruise ship receives a life-size Gingerbread house display! In addition, one of the on board cruise activities is to make your own gingerbread house. Hopefully, you’re better at it than me. The walls on my house fell down, and my house would have failed Florida hurricane code inspection.

5. FESTIVE HOLIDAY ENTERTAINMENT

A wintertime celebration wouldn’t be complete without a little Frozen Fun with Anna & Elsa! There’s also a special Winter Wonderland Ball on the steps of the lobby atrium featuring Mickey and the cast of the Walt Disney Theatre. Plus you’ll find Holiday Carolers strolling along on board – decked out in proper Dickens Christmas attire while singing your favorite songs of the season.

Let’s face it — Disney does the holidays better than anyone. A Disney Cruise is no different.
