On our third trip back to the Universal Orlando Resort since it reopened, we decided to revisit the Leaky Cauldron so that we could provide an updated lunch review!
You can either watch the video below or read on.
Leaky Cauldron Location & Atmosphere
If you’re not familiar with where the Leaky Cauldron is located, it’s tucked inside Diagon Alley which is located inside the Universal Studios Florida Theme Park of the Universal Orlando Resort.
Like most of the shops and restaurants locating in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Orlando’s craftsmen painstakingly recreated the exact look and feel of the Leaky Cauldron from the Harry Potter film series.
There are a number of fun photo opportunities — including a Sirius Black wanted poster, but the obvious highlight is getting a picture next to the leaky cauldron itself.
Leaky Cauldron Menu and Food Review
Much like Three Broom Sticks in Hogsmeade, the Leaky Cauldron menu consists of mainly English food. Some of the highlights on the menu include: Bangers and Mash (pictured), Cottage Pie, Fish and Chips, and Toad in the Hole (also pictured). The entree prices range from $11.99 – 21.99.
I thoroughly enjoyed my Bangers and Mash. The sausage was extremely tasty, the taters were nice and buttery, and the sauteed onions on top were the icing on the cake.
However, Laura wasn’t as much of a fan of her Toad in the Stool. She liked the sausage, but didn’t think the Yorkshire pudding had much of a taste.
And of course, like all the dining locations inside the Wizarding World, you can’t skip out on a frozen butterbeer. They’re just so incredibly sweet and delicious! We’ll definitely be going back to the Leaky Cauldron soon.
